How do we book you?
If you have decided we’re a match for your wedding we will make and send you the contract, once you’re happy with everything we then need a £250 retainer to secure your date. This will get knocked off the final balance which is due one month before the date of the wedding.
Where do you cover and are there any travel costs?
We cover Lancashire, Manchester, Cheshire, The Lake District and beyond! We love to travel and have covered weddings all over including the most remote place in The French Alps. Nowhere is too far for us! If you want us, we’re there, wherever that is! Travel costs may apply just send us an e-mail and we’ll have a chat!
How long will it be until we receive our images?
We deliver images usually within 8 weeks but this may be extended to 10 weeks during peak wedding season.
How many images will we receive?
We deliver at least 650 high resolution professionally edited images. We pride ourselves on delivering an uncapped amount of images. We’re hoarders and couldn’t possibly delete certain pictures because we only want to supply you with the best 450. That is not our style and we will always choose to give you all of the shots that are a part of your story. We always say it is not up to us to decide what will end up being a treasured picture and it’s not our thing to delete 9 pictures of granny and just supply the 10th.
Are you insured?
Of course! We have fully comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Do we meet before the wedding?
We meet on your pre-wedding session. This is our time to get to know you and get you guys feeling comfortable around us and our cameras. This session is very laid back and we often go for a drink and have a good chat before taking any pictures – loads of people dread this session but then always say how they loved it afterwards. It really is invaluable to your wedding day pictures which is why we include this as standard.
Do you do venue consultations or consultations before booking?
Depending on the venue, we sometimes do if it’s logistically possible. Alternatively we always do our own research to ensure we’re well equipped and know what we’re doing on the big day. Consultations before booking is something we are unable to do due to time constraints. Nearly all of our couples book us without meeting us beforehand but some people enquire about this. We’d rather you were certain on booking us and use our first meeting together as the pre-wedding session which is standard within our package. We don’t charge extra for this. Any chats about what you’re looking for can be done via e-mail, phone or Facetime/Skype.
We don’t see any formal group photos on your website or blog, do you do group shots?
We do! We’re primarily story tellers and focus on capturing you and your nearest in natural ways but we understand that these images are sometimes wanted. We are happy to do these but strongly advise a time limit to these so you remember your day for all the laughs, love and feels that it was rather than spending too long having pictures took.
