Lancashire & Lake District Alternative Wedding Photography

About Us

Hey! We're Amy-Leigh & Daryl. Two northerners with a passion for capturing people on the best days of their lives. We capture love stories all over Lancashire, The Lake District, Cheshire, Yorkshire, and beyond.

We do things a little different around here. We strive to connect with our couples so you feel comfortable having us around to capture the authenticity of the best day of your life.

We'd like to think we're not hired vendors clocking on and clocking of - we'll be your friends with cameras in hand recording all the moments of your day for you to look back on for many years to come. We do not put a cap on the amount of images we provide as when you look back on your day, we want you to remember all of it, we want you to feel how you felt in those moments, we want to show you moments you may have missed whilst you we're enjoying your day. Every moment is special and if you only want 500 images of 'highlights' of your day, then we're not the ones for you.

We're the kind of photographers that get excited about all key moments, the special laughs, the antics, the details that you've worked hard on during your planning .... but we also get excited about the everyday things that happen on your special day too, the brews you have in the morning with your chosen breakfast, the postman turning up to deliver letters or the chosen music you've got going on during your preparations. We want you to remember what that music was, and what you chose to eat on the morning of your wedding day. Thats the stuff that fades after months, we'll be the ones who capture that and much more for you.

Hey! So being able to take photos of people on the best day of their lives is pretty awesome, I absolutely love it. I split my time between photographing weddings, mentoring other photographers and hanging out with our son Keaton. I'm quite a simple soul, I love music, cinema/films, good boxsets (current faves; the handmaids tale, greys anatomy), tattoos, lots of tattoos, good coffee, travel, national geographic, good documentaries and gigs.

I love taking photos, motorcycle track racing, the Isle of Man TT, music, making music, the outdoors and travelling. I have a completely different taste in movies to Amy, she makes me watch some weird stuff. I like tea and a good victoria sponge cake.
